Clair Rogers – Planner

There are two broad categories of planner at Trufflepig. Those who like to hunker down on one clearly defined geographic region and become the authority for, say, the north eastern stretches of the southern corner of the western Apennines. And those for whom the whole point of working in a travel company is to travel: far, wide and often. Clair confounds the categorisation by combining the two. She takes time off from planning neck deep in northern Italy (where she lives), by horse riding across the Mongolian Steppes. She balances her work planning in Ireland (exploring her family roots) by disappearing on a road trip in Alabama (exploring bbq joints). The one approach to travel informs the other, and you could describe Clair as the MacGyver of the Europe planning team.
