Reforest Patagonia (Chile)

In December 2011, a massive forest fire destroyed 42,500 acres of Chile’s Torres del Paine National Park. One of the great landscapes of South America, we send travellers to this park and others in Patagonia every year. After so much of the vegetation had been lost, we wanted to find a way to help with the recovery of the region, and discovered Reforest Patagonia. The goal is to plant over a million trees in Chile’s national parks in 2012, and you can contribute your own tree on the website.
