Tangier-Continental
Plenty of reason to hate it but I can’t help but love the tatty Continental hotel. Like a fall from grace story, the Continental was once the prime place to stay in Tangier and was one of the film locations for “The Sheltering Sky”. It trudges on, who knows for how much longer, but the ostentatious Moorish interiors make it well worth coming here for a mint tea.
