Wanted: Safari Planner Extraordinaire
Who says wildlife and farm life can’t co-exist? At Trufflepig we jumped the fence long ago and have never looked back. Our planners are passionate about safari and we spend a lot of time on African soil. From community-owned conservancies in Kenya, to rustic wine farms on the Cape, to bushman initiation hunts in the Kalahari, we unearth unique trip ingredients, try them out for ourselves, and then weave them together into carefully crafted private journeys. We are looking for a new Africa planner with safari in their veins. Do you dig?
Can you tell a Land Rover from a Land Cruiser? That’s a minimum requirement. Can you repair both? Not necessary, but mighty impressive!
Do you have experience planning luxury adventure travel in Africa? Again, this is a requirement. You care deeply about conservation and sustainable tourism? We like you already.
Have you tracked elephant on foot? Humbling, isn’t it? Have you hunted, killed, and field-dressed an impala? If so, shame on you.
Our ideal candidate will be a seasoned, charismatic ambassador to the continent—as comfortable talking safari over the phone as they are swimming with whale sharks off the coast of Mozambique. If you are up to the task, we would love to hear from you. Please see our job posting here.
