Epic Iceland

Did you know that Iceland is actually warmer than Toronto in February? Consider that as food for thought when you sit there staring out your office window into the endless winter we’re experiencing.  But, I digress.

The real draw for Iceland, as anyone who has been can tell you, is the truly spectacular scenery. Raging rivers, windswept mountains, glaciers, volcanoes, cascading waterfalls (which are so common they don’t even bother putting many of them on the map), and some of the best coastal driving you can possibly imagine. Whether you are going for a long weekend or a full blown two weeks, traveling by helicopter or a rental car, you are guaranteed to come back with a smile on your face, some incredible photos, and likely a story or two about the incredibly friendly locals or that shaggy Icelandic pony that won your heart.

Swiss by heritage, Mike also considers himself of Icelandic descent when it comes to his love for epic scenery. If you’re looking for an unusual escape, give us a shout to get started planning.
