Pool Party: Corsica

If you think about it, privacy is the ultimate luxury. Now that you’re a grown-up, you don’t have to share your toys anymore, and how lovely not to share your pool with anyone, either.

Why: Yes, there are some other people staying on this sprawling estate in the unspoiled French island’s south-west, but you wouldn’t know it. The variety and range of villas available could collectively form their own small village… but that would mean more of that annoying sharing we talked about. Opt for a villa with it’s own private pool (as our France planner Jack did on his honeymoon) and you’ll never have to leave.
