The Lion King Returns
Last spring we lost one of our fine safari masters to the African bush—he left us to run camps on the ground in Zimbabwe and Botswana. We are pleased to announce that Dan Achber will be returning to Trufflepig this summer, with a canoe-load of new experiences under his belt.
Before he arrives back in concrete Toronto, Dan is on a mission to make the most of his current location, covering as much of the African continent as he can. Above you can check out some of his recent shots from the Selinda Canoe Trail, Kalahari Plains Camp and Mombo Camp in Botswana.
Next he heads out for a week in Zanzibar, followed by time in the northern Serengeti, and then on to the Katavi and Mahale reserves. Our jealousy knows no bounds, Dan. We would beat you up as soon as you got home, if you hadn’t basically become the African Bear Grylls. See you soon.
Amy Smithers will be strapping Dan to his desk as a Sounder writing slave upon his return.
