Pool Party: Essaouira

If you find yourself lost in a city, seek higher ground to get a little perspective. And if there’s a pool atop that higher ground, you might as well relax in it for a little while.

Where: Heure Bleue Palais

Why: There’s no need to explain it; we all know why the rooftop pool is so cool. But amid Morocco’s bustling and ever-confusing medina streets, it can be as useful as it is refreshing. After a day lost (no matter how enjoyably) in the maze of shops and laneways, Heure Bleue’s oasis in the sky is the perfect place to recharge and re-establish your sense of direction from above.
