WPIG – A Mardi Gras Spring
There is a morning each year when the winter starts to shift gears out of the cold and the barometric pressure starts to change: birds begin singing, and if you look closely, buds start to form on the end of the branches. It is the rebirth, the beginning, and after a two-year winter it is starting to feel like the tide has shifted and a Mardi Gras season has begun. The music of spring, the music of New Orleans, the birthplace of jazz, blues, and rock and roll, all in one pot like a gumbo. Here is an hour of soul shifting, tail shaking, funky, steamy, 2 am on the dance floor groove to help bring the step back into spring.
